Inez Townsend, also known as Inez Tribit, was one of the early American women comic artists. She created 'Gretchen Gratz' in 1904, and 'Snooks and Snicks, the Mischievous Twins' in 1911. The theme of these comics was typical of the time, about adorable children getting into all kinds of trouble. |
