Tsuruta is a famous Japanese manga artist. He made his professional debut in 1986, when he won a prize in the Comic Open with his story 'What a Big Wonderful Universe it is'. Afterwards, he created many other stories. However, his productivity steadily began to decline. He started the five issue serial 'The Spirit of Wonder: the China Stories' for Afternoon magazine in 1989. He is also active in computer game design. |
