Jaime Vallvé was a Catalan artist, who lived and worked in Denmark since the 1950s. For the P.I.B. agency in Copenhagen, he illustrated comic versions of classics like 'The Tree Musketeers' and 'The Count of Monte Christo' by Alexandre Dumas and 'Ivanhoe' by Sir Walter Scott, as well as the series 'Eddie Constantine'. He was an artist for the Swedish production of 'The Phantom' ('Fantomen') since 1972. Also for Fantomen magazine, he did the art of 'Johan Vilde', a series scripted by Jan Lundström, starting in 1988.
