Patrick van Lierde joined the Vandersteen studios around 1970. He cooperated on the production of 'Bessy' stories for the German market. When Jeff Broeckx and Marck Meul began 'Bessy Natuurcommando' in 1984, Van Lierde was assigned as the inker of the series. However, he did the pencilling of the 23rd album, 'De Mijn', himself. For the Suske en Wiske Vakantieboek, Van Lierde created the model 'Iris', in cooperation with Marck Meul. |
