Musti, possibly by Jacques van Driessche

Jacques Van Driessche is a Flemish artist. He worked for TVA Dupuis in the 1960s and 1970s as a background artist on animated productions like 'Musti' and 'Poli en Pili' (a.k.a. 'De Pili's') by Ray Goossens, and a TV series based on Jean Roba's 'Boule et Bill'. 

Van Driessche was also one of the artists drawing comic pages with 'Musti' for the Dupuis magazine Bonne Soirée in the 1970s, in alternation with Robert Lebersorg and based on scripts by Raoul Cauvin. He has additionally illustrated books under the pen name Jacques Duras.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
