He settled in Tiel in 2000. He has made the weekly comic strip 'Peerke' for the Tiel Actueel section of De Zakengids. Since 2002, he has drawn new comic books starring 'Flipje', the mascot of jam factory De Betuwe for many years, originally drawn by Harmsen van Beek in the 1940s. The new stories, that are written by Mia Verbeelen, were not created in commission of the factory (now Hero), but are focused on the city of Tiel and it's environment. In 2008, he drew the educational comic album 'Het Goud van Kampen' for Pear Productions. |
