Volny was one of the founders of the publishing firm Encre Noire, that published Méfe magazine. His work has also appeared in Fluide Glacial. Volny's albums have been published by Kesselring ('Fume c'est du Volny', 1975), 'Tout va Bien' (Méfi, 1979) and Artefact ('Kroniks atomiks', 1979 and 'Vokluze Story', 1981).
