Comic for Sophia Kinderziekenhuis
Tonio van Vugt graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam in 1990. He founded the alternative comic magazine Zone 5300 with Robert van der Kroft in 1994. He works as an illustrator, comic artist and cartoonist for several advertising agencies, government institutions and magazines like Art.1, Maritiem Museum Rotterdam, FNV Kiem Magazine and Mikro Gids. He is also a critic and writer for magazines and websites. Van Vugt is furthermore involved in the organisation of several expositions and festivals.
