After following some art studies, Bob Weber Sr. started a career as an illustrator in several local journals. Starting in 1959, he made humorous drawings for Laff-a-Day and the Saturday Evening Post, as well as the scenarios for some 'Barney Google' episodes. Later on, he moved to Connecticut, where he became the assistant of Dick Cavalli on 'Winthrop'. In 1965, he started his own series, 'Moose Miller & Molly'. This series, syndicated by King Features, soon became very popular in the USA.
