Chris Webster worked on comics for British and Japanese comic publishers in the 1990s, noteably writing 'Rockdrill' for UK's Deadline and drawing 'Mr Pillow' for Kodanshsha's Morning. He is best known for his series of self-published work, including 'Neversedge' (1989), 'Malus' (1995) and 'Wormwood' (2001). 'Malus' was reprinted in book format by Portuguese label MMMNNNRRRG, in 2005. He also contributed to the 'Mutate & Survive' anthology published by Chili Com Carne. Christopher Webster has additionally worked worked on storyboards for film companies in the UK.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over
12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
