Kin Wessel is the artist of the historical comic 'Slaveskipet Fredensborg', that appeared in 1997. This graphic novel, about the slaveship Fredensborg, was written by Kurt Aust Østergaard and documented by Leif Svalesen. The comic was produced on initiative of the Norwegian Maritime Museum with the support of the Norwegian Agency for Development, NORAD, and the Norwegian Council for Cultural Affairs and UNESCO. The book was also published in English.
