Norman Williams was the regular artist of the Eagle back pages, that usually contained religious or historical stories. He has illustrated picture biographies of among others 'Alfred the Great', 'The Baden Powell Story', 'Life of Nelson', 'The Great Adventurer', 'Sir Walter Raleigh', and 'Marco Polo'.
Williams has additionally illustrated at least two 'Dan Dare' episodes. Norman Williams' son Pat was also an artist for Eagle.
