Mieczyslaw Wisniewski was a Polish comic artist. He studied Drawing and Painting during World War II, and then went to work as a graphic artist with the Ministry of National Defence. He picked up drawing comics in the late 1960s, starting with 'Kapitan Zbik' and a serial called 'Podziemny front'.

He is best known as the artist of the comic series 'Kapitan Kloss', a fictional story about a Soviet secret agent who acted the role of a Nazi officer during World War 2. The series, written by Andrzej Zbych, was based on a popular Polish TV program. It was published by Sport i Turystyka from 1970. He left the comics field because of health problems and spent his final years painting.
