Kadur Haraam

Jacky Yarhi was born in Paris, France, but now lives and works in Israel. He has published several comics in Hebrew and French for Jewish publications. His serial 'Haïm et Moshé' is serialized in the Israeli children's weekly Yom Tsahir. The first album was published in Hebrew by Yaffé Nof in 2003. French editions are published by Éditions M.J.R. since 2007. These included the educational comic coloring books 'Je colorie Pessah' and 'Je colorie Hanouka'.

Jacky is also the creator of 'Les aventures de Supermitsva' and 'Kadur Haraam' ('Storm Bullet'), an historical comic about the 1976 Entebbe Rescue Operation. He has worked with David Sanhédrin on the comic 'Amichi Corsi'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service. At the moment the Comiclopedia's sole editor works for us free of charge, aided by a couple of (international) volunteers.
