Thomas "Tom" Yeates began his career in the underground scene, cooperating on among others Larry Shell's 'Alien Encounters' at FantaCo Enterprises. He studied at the Joe Kubert School of Art. He did several sword and sorcery comics for DC Comics in the early 1980s, and he eventually revived the 'Swamp Thing' series. |

He has also drawn for Dark Horse, where he worked on 'Conan' and 'Tarzan', as well as Marvel, where he did 'Universe X'. He did the 'Zorro' newspaper strip for a while in cooperation with Don McGregor and Tod Smith. |
