Super American, by Dan Zolnerowich

Dan Zolnerowich was an artist during the Golden Age of Comics. He started out at the Eisner-Iger Studio in 1939, and eventually worked through the Iger Studio until 1944. He is best known for his work for Fiction House, where his credits include 'Super American', 'Suicide Smith', 'Kaanga', 'Kayo Kirby', 'The Hawk', 'Captain Terry Thunder' and 'Captain Wings'.

He also did art on romance, science fantasy, and western titles by Hillman Periodicals and on Quality's 'Blackhawk', 'Dollman', 'Merlin the Magician', 'Swiss Sisson' and 'Hercules'. In the early 1950s, he also worked on the backgrounds of the syndicated 'Spirit' strip. He changed his name to Dan Zolne in the 1950s, and mainly worked as a technical illustrator for P.S. in the 1950s and 1960s.
