Have you seen these comic artists?

The following comics came from 1950s issues of the Montréal weekly paper Le Samedi. The paper published over 100 of these comics between 1918 and at least 1958, all with the text below the images. Altough they were published as late as 1958, many of them look like they are from the thirties. We are looking for the origin and the name of the artist(s). We presume most of them are British, since 'Rob the Rover' by Walter Booth was also among them.
