Angouleme poster by R. Crumb

"Qui a peur de Robert Crumb?"
by R. Crumb

(40 x 59 cm. / 16" x 23")
The beautiful poster above was made for the big exhibition of Robert Crumb's work in Angouleme, France, January 2000. It was refused by the Angouleme festival organization from serving as the official festival poster, yet luckily Lambiek could lay its greedy hands on it.

'Qui a peur de R. Crumb' sells for € 15.00 (EURO) plus shipping.

We also got our hands on a few more of these Crumb-inspired Angoulême posters by Eric Gougrand:

Angouleme 2000 (Fuck Off) Festival poster, by Eric Gougrand

Eric Gougrand's Robert Crumb poster
for Angoulême 2000 (Fuck Off) Festival

(44 x 46 cm. / 17" x 18")
The refusal of Robert Crumb's magnificent poster design by the Angoulême festival organization from serving as the official festival 2000 poster raised quite a few eyebrows. Among those, the French artist Eric Gougrand, who protested by creating a special Crumb collage poster criticizing the festival organization. Gougrand's hilarious and poignant poster was plastered everywhere in town. You, too, can have your very own copy of this Crumb pastiche poster for only € 15.00 (EURO) plus shipping.

Please email @lambiek.net for details. All major credit cards are graciously accepted, and we're happy to ship anywhere in the world in a sturdy cardboard tube.
