Joost Swarte exposition

Multi-talented and not limiting himself to the comic genre, Joost Swarte developed himself as a successful designer, architect and stained-glass artist, always recognizable for his Clear Line. His work has been exhibited all over Europe now, and as co-owner of publishing company Oog & Blik he was responsible for the design of many prize-winning Dutch books.

This was the first time ever that Joost Swarte agreed to an elaborated sale exhibition of his work. In the past he kept his work to himself for future publications in books and to organize a grand and extensive exhibition when the time was there.

The exhibition in Galerie Lambiek included many early works and illustrations made for various magazines like: Humo, Oor, Vrij Nederland and the Real free press.
