Galerie Lambiek re-opened
|
|||
Comic shop Lambiek finally has a new art gallery! The grand opening on 28 January 2005 was attended by scores of comic fans and friends of Lambiek and was regarded as a great success. The first exhibition in 18 months is a selection of previous shows we had in the last 20 years. It was good to see all the original art and silkscreen posters again, since they were stashed away in our storage for such a long time. The walls are filled now with original art by Ceesepe, Pascal Doury and Chris Ware, as well as with silkscreen posters by Franquin, Charles Burns, Mark Beyer, Jim Woodring and many others. A new expo is planned sometime in April, on which you will be informed in our next newsletter. Stay tuned! |
