Through first-person narrative prose, a series of fantastic digital photocollages, and a CD of quasi-documentary audiorecordings, artist Markus Schmölz tells the tale of a five-day journey taken through the fabled South Asian Kingdom of Ruhundu, where he goes in search of an elephant to embrace after a colleague makes an offhand comment suggesting he go hug an elephant. On his way, he encounters myths from Ruhundu's rich treasure of legends and realizes that reality is not a solid body, but consists of many partially contradicting threads and layers.
