From the mind of Pressed Tongue creator Dave Cooper comes Suckle, a surreal and unpredictable travelogue through a wholly unique cartoon universe that is both wonderfully dream-like and grotesquely nightmarish. Suckle's protagonist, Basil, is born from a strange vulvic eruption in the desert. As his afterbirth is nibbled away by myriad outlandish scavengers, Basil naively sets out on a tangled, twisted quest for either a mother figure or a romantic interest. Cooper's bizarre characters and perverse situations eventually lead Basil to a terrible and inevitable climax from which he can begin to make sense of his world and himself.

"The best comparison I can think of making with Cooper's art is to say that it's a combination of the gritty realism of R. Crumb mixed with the wild imagination of Dr. Seuss." – The Prodigal Sun

"If Dave Cooper didn't exist, someone would have to invent him. When you're ready to have your mind valve felched and your art nipples tickled by the vision lips of a true professional, get a load of Cooper's Suckle." – Rick Veitch
