Luuk Bode is a Dutch artist from Rotterdam, active in several artistic fields, such as illustration, comics and scultping. His debut was the solo show 'First Strike' in MAMA, in 1998. Bode has created strips in magazines like POSSE, Zone 5300, Strictly, Rails and Safe. He self-published a collection of his work under the title 'The Lola Telegraph' in 2001. He has done designs for events (Rotterdam 2007 - City of Architecture, Stripdagen 2008), lettering for comic albums (Milan Hulsing's 'Lana Planck') and CD cover designs (Golden Earring's 1999 album 'Paradise in Distress'). Among his commercial clients are Coca Cola and McDonalds.
