Buck Rogers, by Len Dworkins

Leonard Dworkins went to work as an assistant on the newspaper strips 'Skyroads' and 'Buck Rogers' in the late 1930s. He drew the 'Buck Rogers' daily between 1949 to 1951, and went on to work as an assistant on the strip until 1958. He took over the 'Skyroads' strip from Russell Keaton, which he signed with Leon Gordon, in 1939. He also was an assistant on William Juhre's 'Draftie' (1942) and on Pat Sammon's 'Wade Cabot' (1953).
