Justin Hall is a cartoonist living in San Francisco. He has won both the Xeric Award and the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant for his work, which includes the series 'True Travel Tales', 'Hard To Swallow' (with Dave Davenport), and 'Glamazonia the Uncanny Super Tranny'. His comics have appeared in publications such as the Houghton Miflin Best American Comics, The Book of Boy Trouble, Juicy Mother, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

He is at the vanguard of the promotion of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) comics, curating comic art shows and editing the compilation book 'No Straight Lines: Four Decades of Queer Comics' for Fantagraphics Books. He furthermore serves at the boards of the non-profit organizations Prism Comics, an advocacy group for queer comics, and Siewphewyeung (Our Books), supporting Cambodian comics. Hall is also an avid traveler, massage therapist and a teacher in cartooning at the California College of the Arts.
