Curt Junghändel was a German illustrator. He studied in Munich around 1900, and illustrated several children's books in the 1920s and 1930s. He was one of the regular illustrators for the children's magazine Die Kinderwelt. During the nazi regime, the magazine's name was changed to Deutsche Kinderwelt, and a swastika was added to the logo (1934). Unlike many other magazines, Deutsche Kinderwelt kept appearing during World War II, until it was cancelled in 1944. Junghändel aditionally illustrated pro-nazi children's books, like 'Soldatenspiel'.
