Bernd Schmucker is a comics and collage artist, who began his career in the German independent and underground scene of the 1990s. In 1990, he joined the Renate fanzine, which was founded the previous year by Christian Huth, Atak, Peter A. Bauer and H. Lau. He is best known for his superhero 'Nettmann', whose adventures have been collected in books by Jochen Enterprises.
