The Nameless One (The Hornet #146)

Fred Sturrock was a D.C. Thomson staff artist, who worked for the publisher's story papers as well as Dandy and Beano for about 40 years. Starting in the late 1940s, his Dandy and Beano comics include 'Bob in the Bottle', 'The Hungle Little Godwins', 'Black Magic Bongo', 'His Majesty's Wizard, Mr G. Whizz' and 'The Troubles of Old Sheriff Sassy Bags'. He also did picture strips like 'Handy Clark' and 'The Boy With Iron Hands'. For The Hornet, he mainly drew cricket strips.
