Dansen in het maanlicht (from Dutch magazine Tina 12, 1983)

Philip Townsend is one of the lesser known artist that worked for British girls' comics. He drew for June in the late 1960's and contributed regularly to Jinty in the 1980's. Among his Jinty stories are 'Somewhere over the Rainbow', 'Mark of the Witch!', 'Children of Stepford' and 'Song of the Fir Tree'. With Ray Bailey, he also drew 'Wendy and Jinx' for the front pages of Hulton's Girl, a girl-version of popular magazine Eagle. Some of his stories were also published abroad, like in Dutch magazine Tina.
