Nevio Zeccara made his debut in 1952 with several aviation and fantasy stories for Il Vittorioso. In the 1960s, he did erotic comics like 'Hessa'. In Il Giorno dei Ragazzi, Zeccara drew 'Willy West' and 'Gigi Strip'. He joined the Giolitti studio and began a production for the foreign market, most notably 'Star Trek' for the United States. For the British market, he did 'Battler Britton' in Thriller Comics, war stories in War Picture Library and 'Phantom for Five'.
From the 1970s, he was back on the Italian market with 'Max Martin' in Il Giornalino. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, he also did 'Gli Astrostoppisti', 'L'Operazione Cobra', 'Ricorda Corea', 'Salvate Venezia', 'Topeka Smith', 'Les Bourlingueurs de l'Espace' and 'Kriss Boyd', among many others. In 1996, he started the series 'Metal City'.
