Aunt Mary's Kitchen, by M. K. Brown

Mary K. Brown, who signs her work M. K. Brown, was born in Connecticut. In 1972, her comics and cartoons were first published in National Lampoon. They also appeared in magazines such as Playboy, The New Yorker, Young Lust and Wimmin's Comix. Apart from comics, she also created children's books, like 'Let's Go Swimming With Mr. Sillypants' and 'Sally's Room', and animations, like 'Dr. Janice N!Godatu'. A popular comic by M.K. Brown is 'Aunt Mary's Kitchen'.

Since 1999, Lambiek presents the Comiclopedia as a free service to comic fans from all over the world. The database has expanded to over 12,000 biographies of international comic artists, and also has an extensive Dutch section about comics in the Netherlands.
For 15 years, the site was funded from the resources of our Amsterdam-based shop. However, the current economical circumstances make it difficult for us to maintain this service.
