Amnistia
Paula Andrade is an illustrator of Buenos Aires, Argentina, also known as Derrewyn. She has been active in Argentina's indie scene since the early 2000s, and publishes her work through her own imprint Gutter Glitter. Among her personal works are 'Gomorra: Sadomasochism', 'Sedna', 'Berwick', Brauronian', the artbook 'Mythos' and 'Oveja Negra', an anthology of her short stories.
Her work has further appeared in anthology and collective publications by labels like Midgar Studio ('Gomorra'), Archaia ('The God Machine', 'Awakening Vol.2), Moirae ('Scared of Girls'), Ayarmanot ('Próxima') and Gutter Glitter (the 'Psychopopmp' series). She is also part of Tótem Comics, for which she makes the webcomic 'Amnistía'. Andrade draws her inspiration from mythology, symbolism, religious art, folklore and supernatural tales, with a touch of the sensual and the morbid.
