Bulent Arabacioglu is a Turkish cartoonist, comic artist and designer, born in Eskisehir in 1950. He graduated from art school and settled in Istanbul in 1968. By 1972 he had a degree as a survey engineer, but he decided to pursue a career in art. He started out producing comics and cartoons through an agency, and he was a contributor to the paper Hurriyet as well as Çarşaf from 1973.
Among his best known comic characters are 'Tipi Tip', created in 1975, and 'En Karahan Ridvan', a feature that ran in Gırgır magazine from 1980. Since the 1990s, he worked with the graphic department of the Kent Food Company.
