Hirohiko Araki is the author of the long-running manga series 'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure', that began publication in Shonen Jump in 1987. The serial contains several references to country music and Italy, and has also been released in Europe. Araki had been active in the field since the early 1980s and has published further titles like 'Buso Poker', 'Magic Boy B.T.', 'Baoh' and manga versions about the lives of Serbian-American physicist Nikola Tesla and baseball player Ty Cobb.
