Born in Annicco, Cremona, Erminio Ardigò began his career in 1959, working for Cucciolo at the publishing house Alpe. For this publication, he made the comical series 'Il Sergente Smith'. Subsequently, he drew 'Kolosso' for Gli Amici and 'Tarzan' for Cenisio. In the early 1970s, he worked for Altamira, for which he illustrated episodes of 'Il Piccolo Ranger', as well as for Editoriale Cepim, making a short episode of 'Storia del West'. He has also contributed to series like 'Diabolik' and 'Zakimort' and for the French publisher Lug, he illustrated 'Les Trois Téméraires', 'Fargo Jim' and other stories in Spécial Kiwi.
