Jun Asuka was born in Nagasaki, Giappone, and made her debut in comics in 2003. In September of that year, she published her first short story, 'Koi Suru Uchujin', in a special edition of the magazine Nakayoshi of the publishing house Kodansha. This story was followed by 'Koi no Tokubetsu Jugyo' during the same year, and by 'Sarucci' and 'Shooting Star' during the following. In 2004, she made 'Nightmare Before Christmas', a manga adaptation of the film by Tim Burton. Jun Asaka is also on the international staff of the 'Disney Fairies' series.
