Serenade #4 (1962)
Spanish comic artist, illustrator and painter Ángel Badia Camps was born in Puigreig, Barcelona, and attended art classes at the Superior School of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He began working in the field of illustration professionally in 1950 and has cooperated with many publishing houses from Spain, Europe and the USA since. As a comic artist, he has worked for among others Fleetway in London, drawing stories for the weekly Serenade in 1962-63. For the Scandinavian market (Semic), he has painted covers for titles like Colt and James Bond in the 1970s and 1980s. He held his first exhibition as a painter in 1974.
