'Els Yeyés'.
Former table tennis champion of Spain in the 1950s, Isabel Bas began her comics career after her matrimony in the mid-1960s. She worked in minor comic magazines as L'Infantil, written in Catalan, where she created 'Els Yeyés'. A few months later she created her most popular characters, 'Ana-Emilia y su Familia' for TBO in 1967, being one of the few female artists working for that magazine. Bas also made several pastimes pages for these magazines and for other publishing companies such as Bruguera. She additionally made gag panels for adult magazines as Mata Ratos.
