Francesco Bastianoni was born in Turin, where he still lives and works. He began his comics career at the fanzine Collezzionare as one of the artists of 'Battista il Collezzionista'. In addition, he pursued a career as an advertising artist. He joined the publishing house Bonelli in 1991, where he became an artist of the 'Nathan Never' series.
