Line by Françoise Bertier
Line - Le Secret des Soleils (Line 106, 1957)

Françoise Bertier was a French illustrator of mainly children's books, which appeared in collections like Nouvelle Bibliothèque De Suzette and the Série Dauphine. She was also the first to illustrate the title comic of the Lombard girls' magazine Line in 1956 and 1957. The version she made with writer Nicolas Goujon had a more childlike tone than her successors, and proved to be not successful among the readers. Therefore, the following art teams André Gaudelette/Charles Nugue, Rol and Paul Cuvelier/Greg all had their own interpretations of the character. By 1966, Bertier drew another comic strip called 'Coco, le perroquet perdu' for Le Journal de Nounours.
