Tomasz Biniek was born in Szczecin, Poland. A young artist specialized in commercial arts, he turned to comics in 1997, when he created his own hero 'Tomus' ('Little Tom'). The first comic album of Little Tom, entitled 'Little Tom - The Sickness of Malina' was published in 2001. Since then Biniek has presented a few short stories in the Polish quarterly comic magazine Znakomiks. Biniek eventually became Znakomiks' co-publisher and artistic editor.
