3 de Braço Dado
She obtained some success with her educational and moralizing comic 'Laçarote e Pantalonas', which she made with writer Mitza for Lusitas between 1954 and 1957. This realistic series, about a brother and sister in everyday situations, was designed to appeal to juvenile readers. Bixa and Mitza created a similar juvenile series, but then with anthropomorphic animals, called '3 de Braço Dado' between 1949 and 1954. Together with scenarist Isabel Mendoça Soares, Bixa has made various comics about different cultures.
