Pili Blasco is the third of the Blasco siblings (among which Jesús Blasco is the most famous). She began her career in comics in the 1940s, drawing for the magazine Mis Chicas. For this girls magazine, she drew among others 'La Vida de Quique', 'El Castillo de Oro', 'La Feota Chiquitina', 'Historias de Insectos' and several stories with the 'Mariló' character. She also contributed to Chicos, the weekly run by Consuelo Gil of which Mis Chicas was subsidiary. She created the 'Lalita' character for Florita Magazine.
