Bonk was an artist who cooperated with Bryan Talbot on several British underground comix publications. Talbot was a fellow student of Bonk, and they began their collaboration drawing for the college newspaper, Hac. Bonk then contributed to Talbot's Brainstorm Fantasy Comix at Alchemy Publications. Both Bonk and Talbot later appeared in Near Myths.
