Marcel Bosma is a Dutch graphic designer and illustrator, affiliated with Comic House. He got his education at the Graphic School in Utrecht, and debuted in Appèl, the magazine of the soldier's union. He drew his first comic for Han Peekel's Wordt Vervolgd in Avro's Televizier ('IJs & Co'). He has drawn comics like 'Jip en Jolien' and 'Poes' from scripts by Marjolein Winkel in Tina and has contributed to the monthly magazine De Fabeltjeskrant on a regular base.
In addition, he has done artwork for 'Alfred Jodocus Kwak' merchandise, based on Harald Siepermann's designs. In 1992 he made a comic book adaptation of 'Flodder in Amerika' (1992), based on Dick Maas' comedy film of the same name and following a script by both Maas as well as Wijo Koek. Originally Martin Lodewijk was considered as the book's illustrator, seeing that he had already designed the movie posters for the franchise. Lodewijk designed two comic book panels, but had so much other work to do that he left this task to Bosma.
Bosma also made illustrations for De Zaak and advertisements. He turned the characters from the TV advertising spots of PLUS supermarkets into comic characters for the shop's 2013 holiday book.
