Loundja by Yasmine Boubakir

Yasmine Boubakir is an Algerian comic artist, who works in the shojo manga style. She has worked as an illustrator, and was the first cartoonist to join the specialized manga magazine Laabstore with her comic 'Tsubaki' in 2008. Her first manga book was 'Une geisha, un destin'. It was followed by 'Loundja', a story created with author Amir Cheriti about the difficult everyday life of a schoolgirl suffering from a rare illness. It was published by Z-link. Boubakir and Cheriti also cooperated on 'Nahla and the Touaregs', 'Drahem' and 'The Revolution'.
