Ariol (German edition)
Marc Boutavant is a French (children's book) illustrator and comic artist. He has written and illustrated several picture and childrens' books for publishing houses like Albin Michel, Actes Sud Junior, Sarbacane, Nathan, Le Seuil Jeunesse and Milan since 2000. These include 'L'Écologie pas à Pas' (with François Michel), 'Amélie Couture', 'The Great House Hunt' (with Davide Cali) and the bestselling 'Around the World with Mouk' series. For the Bayard children's monthly J'Aime Lire, he makes the comic 'Ariol et ses Amis' together with Emmanuel Guibert since 1999. Both 'Ariol' and his series about the bear 'Mouk' have also appeared abroad and were made into animated TV series. Boutavant is represented by the Heart Agency in London and New York.
