Floriano Bozzi made his comic debut designing covers for the publisher Mondadori. In 1964 and 1965, he created 'Joe Missouri' and 'I Magnifico Quatro'. The next year, he came up with his first erotic comics, launching heroines like Auranella, Bernada, and Jessica. In the 1970s, he started using the pseudonym Sam Göspel and made an erotic adaptation of 'The Three Musketeers'. In 1975, together with artists Mairani, Carcupino and Bertelli, he founded the publishing company La Vinciana, and started the series 'Leonardo'.
