'Big Questions'.

Anders Brekhus Nilsen is a Chicago-based cartoonist and comic artist, who has also published under the name Abel Brekhus. He was born in New England, and has since spent time in Minneapolis, New Mexico, San Francisco and eventually Chicago, where he is a member of the Holy Consumption comics group. He is best known for his ongoing series 'Big Questions', published by Drawn & Quarterly.

His book 'The Ballad of the Two Headed Boy' won a Xeric Foundation Grant in 2000, and Nilsen's graphic novel 'Dogs and Water' got an Ignatz Award in 2005. His work is also published in anthologies like Kramers Ergot and Mome. Drawn & Quarterly also published his 2006 graphic memoir 'Don't Go Where I Can't Follow', while 'The End' was published by Fantagraphics in 2007.

He was an influence on Sophie Crumb.
