G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #89 (August 1989)

Mark D. Bright, also known as M.D. Bright, grew up in New Jersey. He studied art at the Pratt Institute where he graduated in 1978. He worked as a comic book artist for Marvel in the 1980s, drawing for titles like ''Falcon', 'Dazzler', 'Avengers', Spider-Man', 'Iron Man', 'Thor' and 'G.I. Joe'. He has also worked extensively for DC Comics, starting with contributions to Weird War Tales, House of Mystery and Ghosts in the late 1970s and early 1980s and later on titles like 'Batman', 'Green Lantern', 'Valor', 'Superman' and 'Titans'. He also drew 'The Dark' and 'The Revengers' for Continuity Comics and 'Quantum and Woody' for Acclaim Comics. He did the 1991 movie adaptation of 'Predator 2' for Dark Horse Comics.
